Angry Got my first ticket in the L!!!!!!

I was cruising to a town nearby and I stopped by a local gas station and put on my tinted headlight covers. As I am cruising along I see two state troopers on the median and as I pass them I see one of them turn as if he were going to follow. I looked back and I did not see him coming so I thought oh well. I look back again and I see him coming up quick, it looks like he is going to go by me, but he gets behind me He comes up to the truck and says, "I like those headlight covers a lot and would like a set for my truck but they are illegal in VA<-----you can't have ***** in VA for any car or truck that is cool. I told him that I thought they were just illegal at night and he corrected me. I waited for like fifteen minutes for him to give my equipment violation and when he returned he said, "How fast is your truck?, I said, " My best time is a 13.41" and he said" wow, thats fast, have you ever seen how fast you can go on a straight away?". At this point I wanted to say Hell yeah, I had up to 140 on Rt. 17, but I thought he might use that against me. I have drove around for three months with those covers on and passed probably thirty or so cops and they never say anything. I guess this guy must have been a rookie or something.

Everybody was looking at me on the road as you could imagine.

Sorry to hear the bad news. You should have told him to leave before you and he could see how fast your truck is when you go by him at over 140 mph. I doubt that he would have found it funny but he did ask.

A couple of years ago when I was in NY, NY and was going upstate. The roads in NYC suck bad. Anyway I got on Palisades Pkwy in New Jersesy and it was beautifully smooooooth. So I stretched out my legs to 140+mph and was coming back in to NY going downhill around a slight bend. By that time I was slowing down and got pegged for 78 on radar. Oh well. The cop was a a$$ because of my out of state plates & reg (Nevada then).
So, I said you should of got me a couple of miles ago cause I was really movin'.
What was he gonna do, everything was legal on my car. I did get the hell out of NJ.

Yea, I got stopped the other day by Hiway patrol, tinted headlite covers and no front plate. Went into this big speal about how the wife knocked off the front plate and the covers were manually installed headlite protectors. Said he couldn't see my turn signal so they were illegal. Saw a #24 on his ticket clip board. Hey are you a Jeff Gordon Fan? Yea!!!!! Got a warning ticket.

Noel,

kiss ***!!!

I pulled a 77 in a 65 last month not 5 miles into Ohio on a Saturday morning driving the wife's Benzo. Saw Barney foaming at the mouth when I went by (Ohio 'requires' front licnese plate, Indiana doesn't) and thought he was going after the leading Expedition in front pulling away from me BEFORE I saw him(in the median).. Couldn't even get a word in edgewise... "We don't allow people to drive 12 miles over the limit here. I WILL be issuing you a citation for speeding. May I see your license please...."

OBTW, Ohio doesn't have a "pay $30 more and get no points, conviction" like Indiana. RAT FARTS!!!

This is the first ticket on my record since '94....no joke

$85 later...

SPEEDIN BOB

PASSPORT 8500

and remember Its better to have kissed *** and got off than to pay the bucks and loose the points. Hurry up and loose all your points and you can come to Texas and start over. We have all kinds of cool ways to get out of stuff here.
