Should I buy a L now or wait?
I was going to buy a 2001 L this Spring but unfortunatly I got in a accident and injured my hip. I am just about healed and want to buy a L very badly but was reading in Muscule Mustangs and Fast Fords that SVT is going to be upping the HP and tourqe in the next couple of years (I could not find any info on the web about this).
Does anyone know the path SVT is going to take on the L? Also is there any problems with the 2001? I looked at the FAQ on this board and did not see anything bad in relation to the 2001 L. I will use it mostly for crusing, going to the drags once in a while and would like to use it to haul my Mustang I am working on to road courses.
Any info is appreciated
Regards,
Doogie

DreaminAboutL,
Trust me I don't want to wait another day but the hip thing set me back a bit (had to buy a winter truck, out of work for a bit) but if they continue to improve on the platform it may be worth it (Hopefully I can find a dealer that does the x-plan).

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I can find a 2001 on the x-plan and trade it in on a newer model when the improvments arrive or stick with a 2001 or 2002. I got to give Ford credit as they did a great job with the L.
