Hotchkis Help
Silver-Bolt
I am using my stock 01 shocks also. I haven't put the springs on yet 'cause I haven't had time and wanted to do the sways at the same time.
I've got to get some vacation scheduled so I can turn some wrenches.

NeedFor,
I have been thinking the same thing. I may wait for the bars and do it all at once. Doesn't make a lot of sense to take it apart twice. Sounds like we are only a week away +/- for the bars.

Silver-Bolt - I got my springs straight from Hotchkis and may have paid more than if I went to Summit. Where do you plan on getting your bars from?
I've got so much to do. Besides the suspension I have a new set of factory wheels that I need to get widened and chromed; a fan kit to install; lower pulley and new flip chip too. Might as well line up the urethane bushings while I'm at it.
I also want to relocate the battery under the bed and start lining up a wet nitrous system.
I've only been an L owner for 6 months but I understand how the mods and spending cash never stop. I bought the truck for a "toy" so I geuss these are good problems to have.

I plan to try the Hotchkis bars. I really like the idea of tubular bars. Have used them in the past and like the responsiveness. Pretty good weight savings also. I too bought from Hotchkis direct. Paid more than Summit, but they were in stock and no waiting. Plus I know I can go back to them with any questions that may come up.
You need to take some vacation and hit the shop. Your truck will not be the same by the time you get all your toys mounted. I thought I had work to do. Springs, bars, bushings, and T/B for me. Once I get that done I may do a few cosmetics. Have to go before you can show.
