I hope thats it for you, mine started out similar, something small order parts, etc, you know the rest. Keep us posted. Keepin my fingers crossed for you.

It was doing it real bad today! My boat was almost going to be stuck in the river! Finally after 15 tries it started! Got home and was thinking, maybe the connection on the computer could be loose? I took the kick panels off, unclipped the clip that holds the PCM and wiggled the connection. I popped the hood and wiggled and played with the connection from the other side and the truck hasn't acted up since! I cycled the ignition 30 times and not once did it act up after playing with the connection to the PCM!

I have a 3hr drive with the truck tomorrow to pick up some new rims for my car. Hopefully it was just a loose connection! I notice that even the clip doesn't really hold the PCM super tight so it's possible that the connection just got loose over the years? I'll report back tomorrow, hopefully I don't break down, lol.

Sweet. Hope that was all it was. Maybe that was my problem to begin with, but I never checked, and maybe it wiggled enough and fried my pcm. Keep us in the loop. I hope thats it, dont wanna see you put her down, LOL. Good luck.

I made my trip to upstate NY with no problem, came home, and it started again, lol. I don't think the Lightning likes being parked next to my Camaro because it didn't start acting up until I got back home, lol. I took it in yesterday but they said that they ordered the wrong part and that the right part would be in today so hopefully it will be fixed today.

If you need a PCM taklk to your dealer. I just had mine replaced. Was quoted 1200 for Ford, and 850 for Orilly rebuilt. Did some research and found they were 375 max from Oriellys, dealer was going to charge me 650 for computer, rest labor. Ended up needing teh cheaper computer, and bought it myself for 250, and took to Ford. Ended up costing me less than 500.00 total.

Was that for a stock regular F150 or Lightning? I tried to find one before I went to ford and couldnt find one. I even had people searching for me one, no luck, had to resort to ford.(expensive), wel money well spent. the L is running good as new.

Regular F150. They actually list three different part numbers available for the lightning. One is teh same one I ended up with for my Expd.
