Hey everyone. I realize this isn't relevant to any performance stuff or what have you but I need to whine a little. I recently picked up Gran Turismo 3 for the Playstation2 and unless I don't know what I'm doing, and there is a good chance of that, there is no Lightning in the whole game. Now I realize that it is a truck and all of the others(I think) are cars but the L would slaughter most cars in the game. If any of you out there also play video games and especially GT3 and have found, unlocked please post a response with an answer. I apologize for putting this thread in the L forum but you all are my only hope and I didn't know where else to put it.

sorry.. no lightning in gran turismo 3...
however with the 10 trillion dollar cheat code, you can put together some verry nice rides..
my favorite is my 1800+ hp, awd, turbocharged, 300 mph top speed rally car. the name of it is pikes peak.
then there is the 1000+ hp viper, 1000+hp 3000gt vr4... fun game!!!

Is that Gran Trusimo A spec you have or is it the full actual game.

 

Is there two versions of the new GT3? Mine says Gran Turismo 3 A-spec. So far It's a blast. Graphics are great with the PS2. I got my B License and bought the Cobra R. Haven't seen a Lightning yet.

I'm tired of trying to win money the hard way, I want to cheat now.

I've got 96 days into the game and all I got is a pimp A$$ PT cruisier (first car), 700+ HP cobra R, 890+ hp RUF CTR2, and a couple of those crap cars you win for winning the races.

The only thing I don't like about the game is that there's mostly all jap cars in there you know. How about some badass dago cars, more american cars, Maybe some old school stuff to play with, And what ever else. As soon as I got to the car dealer and saw that italian flag, I figured alright finally a lambo, or a ferrari in this game. But what was there, fiat, puegot, and some other crap nobody's ever heard of. I'm kinda pissed about it. Anyway that enough bitching from me today.

Hey I want more money, If I have to do another endurance run, I'll hurt somebody.

 

You gotta buy the Game Shark for those codes.

 

Speedracer29: gran turismo 3 a-spec is the full game.

Shorty: there is also a japanese version. supposed to have more cars on it.

MXRacer/RTKILLA: you have to have a gameshark2 to get the codes to work..
just think of it like a chip for your truck.

Its the gameshark codes, I didn't know that.

I asked toys "R" us if they had a gameshark for PS2, and they told me that they had them in and then they recalled them all. SO I don't know where to find them anyway.

 

Its not playstation2, but theres a 99 Lightning on TestDrive6 for PS1...

There isnt a Lightning on GT2 either - which is dissapointing, and I heard that GT3 has even less cars too...so I doubt theres a L

 

RTKILLA: try babbages or another computer/console only store..
try wally world (wal-mart), k-mart, and sears also..

I'm dissapointed in no L, but that's nothing compared to the dissapointment I felt when I noticed the only Mustang offered was the Cobra R. What happened to the 98 and 99 models???
The game is much harder than GT2.........Still the best game out for PS2 in my opinion.
