Shorty- Just one pass with the bottle will make you a believer. I would be lying if I told you I wasn't very nervous when I hit the button for the first time. Jim@JDM and Spiro kept telling me that everthing would be safe. The one thing that really made me feel better about running both power adders was the fact that Jim@JDM took about 1 1/2- 2 hours to go everything he changed in my L's program in order to compensate for the nitrous. After seeing what all he changes to make sure the nitrous is safe, I must say that I am not worried at all. Since I don't go to the track very often I am not worried about that extra tenth, I got Jim to set my nitrous program up a little rich so that under no circumstances or weather condition I wouldn't run lean. Happy Spraying!!

Shorty- Actually it's way cheaper than 1K. The 5115 kit can be purcahsed through Summit for $429.00. Then the NX bottle heater is $170.00 (This is a must in my opinion). Also I purchased a purge kit for $70.00. So for a little less than $700.00 you can go from mild to wild!!

I just hit the nos for the first time 15 min. ago!!!!!!!!!!
I used a 75 shot. Feels very strong. CAN NOT do it from a takeoff with out the truck going sideways. what a differince 75hp makes. I have the ngk r5724-9 plugs in, with a JL nos chip.
Should have done this along time ago.
Jeff

the install does not take to long, I had one problem. the toggle switch had a short in it. So I had to get a different one. I bought the NX kit. I have ran it in my mustangs many times. Still was a little scary on the first shot tonight with the L. The rest were fun!

The NX guy told me they have a stock L running 11.99's on F1's with the 150 shot. Don't know if that is true. He was trying to make a sale. I would think that it would at least have to have a chip to run that much NOS??

Shorty- What Jeff listed above is correct. For less than $700 bucks you can own a low-low 12 second thrill ride. Plus you get the additional benefit to hang will almost anything on the street in a 4,700 pick-up!!

Don't forget the added bonus of the NoS on your L's!!! It also cools your incomming air. Now you can have two Intercoolers. With that said is there a possibility that you are getting more then 75 HP? Anyone dyno with and without NoS to see what the actual difference is? I better stop reading up on you L owners or my wife will disown me when I swap out my modified XR for a Lightning.

Hmm I wonder if I could use the excuse " You know hun you did say we didn't have enough time in our day to get everything done. Well now we can get to Menards and back much faster with our building supplies! " LOL
