I never really considered myself a "truck" man before buying my HD F-150. I really dig this truck, and the L too. I love your kill stories, and the L is the only other truck that can compete looks wise with the Harley. Now, here are my questions. If I buy a new L engine, is it a matter of simply dropping it in? Or will I have to change other major componants as well. Is it worth the hassle? I hear the 03 HD will have an engine similar to the L. Can anyone confirm this? I can't afford both, but want the best of both worlds.

 

Your tranny will have to be modified to handle all that torque.

I'd wait and see if the rumors about the 02/03 HD truck materialize.
