Took my Lightning in for the intercooler repair to Maroone Ford near Sunrise Blvd. as it was recommended to me by someone (I forget who!) on the board. Sure enough....I just mentioned the word intercooler and they were all over it--got the truck back in 2 days with no additional scratches in the paint.

The service manager had his red 2000 sitting there and I discussed mods and warranty concerns with him. He was extremely knowledgable in trying alot of different mods to his own truck and was helpful considering I'm just getting started pouring the money into mine. Anyways, he basically said as long as you aren't being stupid (by leaving a chip in) there shouldn't be any problems with the warranty repairs. I won't take the truck anywhere else....(Sunshine Ford said they could detect if chips were ever installed via their computer...blah...blah...blah).

Just thought I'd pass the word along....

 

I'll drive right over and get my truck serviced....It may take a while, but better service is worth the wait ! Dealing with my dealer is like the Ford Circus!!!!
