I just did the intercooler pump switch mod. I did it the easy way. I just tied into the white wire with the orange tracer at the pcm. It's pin number 70. If you take the black cover off of the pcm harness you can see where the #70 is. The wire is very easy to find. I tapped into that and ran the wire to a switch then ran the other side of the switch to ground. I put the switch in that black cover that is on the firewall right next to the battery. I didn't run any wires inside the cab because this will be a track only mod. This whole setup took 1/2 hour and about 6 bucks. So when I'm cooling down between runs I can pop the hood and flip the switch so the IC pump runs. The key must be in the on position...from what I understand this will not hurt anything plus I have seen numerous other L's at the track doing this. You just ice down the coolant tank and let the pump circulate to cool the intake. This works good from what I have seen...
