Last Sunday I was riding with my wife in the GT, when I briefly saw a strange looking white Supercrew going the other way on a busy street. It appeared to be a flat black flame job that started on the front bumper, went up on the hood, and then partially down the sides. I really didn't get a good look at it but a few minutes later we were sitting at a light when he rolled up right behind us.

It turns out this supercrew has a Navigator front end and the flame job was done in some sort of Mystic color. It looked purple, green and various shades of black depending on the angle of the light.

In a way I liked it, but I have mixed feelings. I guess I was more shocked that someone would do all that to a Supercrew than anything else. My L is Red (fastest color) and I wouldn't even consider doing something like this. Has anyone done Mystic flames on a white L?

Edit: I don't know now, I might consider it in the future if the price was right and it looked really good.

 

I have them on my black Lightning. I just got the truck back last fri. I have never had so many people stop me and take pics. of my truck before. It looks real good. I was very nervous about getting it done, but very happy with it.

Yeah, I was considering getting ghost flames on my L. Price is an issue though.

BTW, what color are your flames and how did they do it?

 

I will have it at the NMRA fri. for test and tune, and my mom will be useing it to tow her mustang to the NMRA Sat. so she can race. she will put the truck in the show. I have a wedding to go to. I have no way to post pics yet, I am hopping somebody at NMRA this weekend can post some pics for me.
