1993 Lightning Starting Issue

So I have been on National Lightning Owners Club (NLOC) and have poised my issue, but have not gotten and good suggestions. I am thinking the issues could be a generic Ford issue, so i wanted to open it up here for more suggestions/comments/thoughts.

Some days it starts without a problem, other days it turns over, turns over and finally starts. Today, I went out during lunch, the truck started fine to leave the garage and drove fine. After getting to my destination, I went to start it, and it just slowly turned the starter. Gave it a second, tried again, just a really crank. Ended up getting a jump and started right away.

So initially it sounds like a bad battery, maybe alternator...

I have changed the battery (and have tested the voltage when it wouldn't start), changed the alternator, tps, tfi, coil, starter, battery cables (positive and negative).

Video of the issue is here:

Thanks for any suggestions.

dont know if you got this fixed yet but ill give it a go

when you crank it over like that and it doesnt fire grab ahold of the cable goin to the starter feel if its warm or not you said you replaced the cables did you get the same guage cables even if you went a size smaller that would add more resistance and would cause the starter to crank slow

i doubt it is but sometimes you can buy bad starters from the parts store

also batterys the problem with checking the voltage is you can have voltage but when you put a load on the battery like trying to start the truck the voltage will drop

did you get the same size battery when you changed that also you can always go more cca it doesnt hurt

you can always go to any parts store and have them load test your battery and your alternator just to make sure those are good

if none of the above problems fix that then you deffinately have a bad ground somewhere
