Dont Forget to edit your profile using the Control Panel

The New BB has a LOT more features than the old.

You will want to set the timezone so the BB shows times that make sense rather than GMT. There are other features you may want to set.....Set both your Profiles and Settings in the Control Panel using the Button.

This new Software is LOT different, but the features and the scalability are something a forum this size required. There will be some resistance to change. Give yourself a day or 2 to get used to vBulletin before jumping to conclusions.

And take the time to Thank STEVE for spending the money and time to move all our old threads including signatures and settings with no apparent data loss !!!

Please post any questions or comments about the new software in the Questions About The Site? Forum...

Doug

I can't set the clock or edit my settings. It won't take submit request.
It says
"ADNINISTRATOR You must REVERT your modify/options template".

And why no AVATARS????

Dan

I logged in using a Non Moderator Username and was able to Change the profile and the Control panel settings.

If you can post the Exact Error message I am sure Steve will take a look tomorrow. He has worked his butt off to move everything from the old system to the new system with NO data loss. He may have left some options disabled to give him a chance to get the core features running tight before turning on the options.
Or he may have decided NOT to enable Avatars or Private Messages

Doug

A clean conversion with "ZERO DATA LOSS" is the type of employees I will hire...ones who know what they are doing!! Damn Good Job!!! I was mad about the change at first. Change is required....so the whining lasted only a few hours
