FYI from now on I will use "Slick X" as my screen name. Alschmid was created due to a lost password which could not be recovered, but I eventually was able to obtain access to my account created in 1999. I checked the wires and they are fine. I put some dielectric on the contacts anyways. Maf voltage is .6-.8 at idle.

check for any leaks, even for a blown gasket letting in un meetered air, you didn't say what your air/fuel was doing so I'mn leaning towards the vacuum leak or a gasket

A/F numbers at 14.7 at idle. When I tap it goes to 12.1 then to 16.1 surging back and forth. I am thinking this is a transmission/tq issue as I have dropped the pan and see paper like pieces of clutch about 1/2 long in the pan. This only happens in gear so the surge could be the tq locking/unlocking or surging.
