Where to hook up boost gauge?

Where does the factory boost gauge line hookup to display correct boost? I am putting in a autometer boost gauge into my supercrew lightning swap and need to find out what vacume line to install it into to display correct pressure?

Thanks Dave

Hey dude if your doing the l swap then you will be able to tap into any of the lines that are on the left of the upper plunum Look where im pointing with the pen this is where you want to tee in to get a good reading. You want to tee in as close to the port in the pic. Just pm if you need more help[IMG][/IMG]

I would say because the boost occurs below the blower not on top of it!!!

You would have equal atmospheric pressure at the platinum = 0 PSI.

-20 PSI at idle is very good , good sealed motor, I get about 17 to 16 PSI at idle, lots of air leaks, well after 120K it’s good!!

I didn't get off work in time to day but if you look on the RPM outlet site for the boost bypass you'll see it

Sorry thats the spot i hooked mine up on my powerdyne set up and worked fine. 20in. of vacuum is good. You should only see positive pressure ie: Boost under load boost is the measurement of restriction. more boost does not always = more HP but it usally does.
