Talking Idler Pullies + Misc

He guys, it has been a looong time since I have been active on this board. I recently had my plugs replaced and fixed that pesky vacuum hose TEE behind the supercharger and the truck is running STRONG! So suddenly I am interested in tinkering with my truck again!

Anyway, I am going to replace the factory supercharger idler pullies with aftermarket ones. Which ones do you guys recommend? and also what size (90mm, 100mm, etc.)

Also I have a JDM 4lb CAGED pulley. Do they still make the caged pullies? I did not see them on the JDM website.

Is Lightninrod still hangin around here?

Thanks guys!!!

90mm on the 2 idlers is a good way to go expecially if you reposition the drivers side for more belt wrap

JDM no longer offers the caged pulleys they weren't cost edffective to be competitivly priced with the non caged pulleys

And the quality of materials, specifically the spindle, was sub-par, which guaranteed that you'd round off the spindle nut when attempting to remove it thereby necessitating a replacement from JDM (to the tune of $50-75). The gift that keeps on giving...

Perhaps the biggest problem with the JDM caged pulleys is the fact that they are near impossible to take off without a lift, without a huge wrecking bar, maybe a torch, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.

I just fitted the 100mm double bearing idlers from LFP. They give a tad more belt wrap, as the stockers are 90mm. Much wider than the stockers too.
