How much money (be realistic) ? How quck in the 1/4 mile (be realistic)
select a package that fits money and goal.
helter skelter mods will disappoint.
traction bars, gear ratio, size of slicks.
RPM just as you cross the finish line.
Trans mods to hold up.
Ok now pour on the horse power according to your goals.
More horse power the less the reliability after a certain point.

I say high 12s is a great street truck: trans mod, pulleys, good chip/tuner, is all you need.
faster you might want nitrous 75 or 150 hp shot getting close to strength of stock parts.
10s or 9s you will have to get serious wiht a GT 5.4 and whipple supercharger etc.
lots and lots of cash.

plenty of people are in the 10's with 2 valves and KB, there's even one guy running mid 10's with a magnum powers and no NOS but they are built motors though

No HP difference but you will keep your motor from blowing up!
I would say that's a BIG difference.

This is about the only 3 places I buy parts from.
