What dealer is selling an 03 for 15k? 2nd, I'd like to see you get 18k on a trade for a ranger... I couldn't even get that when I tried to trade in my 04 L. I'm gonna be 26, have a full time job and I had to sell my L because I could barely afford it. Good-****ing-luck!!

Sounds like the entire Lightning plan hinges on getting top dollar for the Ranger.

Getting 18k trade in for the Ranger and replacing it with a dealer owned Lightning to save money? I'm skeptical...

 

I just recently bought an '03 lightning with 43K miles in the past week for $19995, my truck was in completely stock condition with no body damage and a clean CARFAX so if you can manage to find a lightning for only 15k and its in good condition i say go for it!! I have never owned a truck like this and have had more fun driving around my home town in the past week than ever. These trucks are amazing!! I think that if money is an issue now and will continure to be i would say stay away though because in my research these modular motor can be costly to repair even the most simple of problems. But i must say this a lightning will definetly be more fun than a ranger!!
