Bad Valve body

i just installed a brand new valve body and now whenever i hit 1/4 throttle or more i get this skipping feeling. i changed the tranny filter why i was in there. the stick reads full. i also changed the MAF to the BA3000. dont know if that could be the problem. im getting the truck retuned on the 24th but i would like to get this fixed first. this is driving me crazy. anytime i want to do something to the truck something goes wrong.

It is entirely possible you got a bad valve body. If everything was torqued up right and the truck shifts fine with the stock one then I would call for a new one, warranty. Good luck sir

i got the 2cr. no its not tuned yet. march 24th its going in to get tuned. i took it around the block to feel the VB. not getting on it hard at all and i can feel a skipping feeling... i changed the VB, tranny filter, tranny fluid, MAF, intake(now have Airraid) and the IAC at the same time. im trying to find out if it is the VB so i can sent it back and get a new one in there before it gets tuned. could any of the other changes be the cause? im going crazy!

the tune should not be adjusted with a FTVB

Your truck is not going to run correctly without a tune for the SCT BA3000 MAF. Put your stock MAF back on the truck and you should be fine. Install the SCT BA3000 once your tuner has provided you with a tune calibrated for the upgraded MAF.

after thinking back i installed the MAF after the valve body. it was doing the same thing with my old MAF that was tuned for everything i have. i drove three times in two days with the new valve body. the first time it ran perfect. then on the second time i turned a corner got on it and feel the "skipping/shutter" alittle then it went away for the night. then the next time i drove it everytime i got to 1/4 throttle or more the shutter was there full force. im confused. im going to try putting the old one back in and see what happens. Gregg is going to send me out a new one anyway. hope it is just the VB!!!!!

I'd ask for a refund, and go with another brand, that is due to my personal experience.

If the second VB does the same thing, it may or may not be the VB, it could be something else. Put the stock VB in and see if that fixes the problem.

i just took the truck around the block and now i cant get it to do it. it has been sitting for a week. i wonder if there wasnt enough fluid ran through it yet the last time took it out, but now that it has sat. all the valves and springs, and moving parts in the VB are lubricated enough not to do it? IDK this truck is driving me crazy!!!!! but i love it
