OK i found out why my truck was not shifting into first, the lower shift cable bracket was missing a bolt and was flopping all over the place, now i can shift through all gears and the orange marker even reads correctly, but now that i drive it again it feels like it is shifting into first but that might not be the case, it feels like a transbrake has been activated while im moving, the trans mission like binds up for like 5 secs and then breaks free and does that over and over again without missing a beat, anymore ideas im runnin out?

Now that sounds like your converter is shot. It seems like it is slipping, the clutches in the converter may have snapped, or your pump on the transmission isnt moving the fluid through the converter until it builds up pressure.

that makes sense i guess my next stuff is to drain the fluid to check for smashed up tourqe converter, and is this pump replaceable and where is it located?

You have to remove the trans from the vehicle. It is part of the front cover of the transmission where the input shaft is. Your looking at a rebuild or a new trans if there is broken clutches going through the trans. Hopefully you do not, drain the fluid remove the pan, inspect the pan and filter for metalic dust particles at the bottom of the pan as well. That will tell you if your trans will live or most likely die.
