Late 03 is when they started with the upgraded heads.
A 2000 w/22K miles on it,,,13800 is a little high but I'm sure it's well worth it.Depends on how bad ya want it but I would try to talk um down some!

You meant Late 02. My 03, built in January, has the upgraded heads.

I'll have to check my build date. My 03 stock motor did not have the upgraded heads.

some of the 03's had 4 thread heads. I have heard of guys with one 4 and one 8. God I would be pissed if my 03 had 4 thread heads. I did a lot of searching to get the right one but Im not gonna be taking plugs out at the dealer to count threads. BTW 4 thread heads are fine you just have to torque them to correct specs and make sure they stay tight. Guys have gone 10 sec on 4 thread heads.
