Question Taking the next step with my L

I have a 2002 L that I currently have modified with the following:
Metco 4lb pulley
JDM full exhaust
JLP Ram Air
Superchip tune (JDM)
Plugs (can't remeber brand)
Zex Wet Nitrous System (75-125 HP)

I stopped racing with it a couple years ago when I grenaded my driveshaft at 100 mph. My best time is a 12.79, full dress with tonneau cover, on street tires-without the Nitrous. I am working toward an 11.XX-without the nitrous.

So true to my nature I want to race it once again. I can't do a new supercharger right now, so I am looking for HP and/or ET in a less expensive way.

1) I need help. What is the best system for putting the power to the ground (Four Link, Traction Bars) and avoiding axel wrap??

2) I am also looking at adding a Plenum and throttle body. Is Accufab still the best out there for throttle bodies? Who plenums are the best-C & L, Lightning Force Performance, others??

3) Is anyone doing the Methanol injection on L's??

I have not been on here for a couple of years so I am a little out of touch with everything L---I need your info. Thanks

I'm sure you've heard of it - but there's a plethora of information over on NLOC.com that would help you. I'm also a member of NHTOC and there's a bunch of info there too since they share the same engine.

a few guys run the water alky mix but not many.

Go for the C&L plenium, accufab single blade TB, long bars (forget the slappers) port your eaton (@ steggie's) and run a 6# or 8# lower with an upgraded heat exchanger should do the trick...

and add a drive shaft loop

A PI triple disk lock up torque converter will get ya close to 3/4 of a second,,so they advertise.
That and slicks alone might put him in the 11s.
I know it helped me a bunch!!!

Thanks for the info

I do have the FTVB and I truly love the 2nd gear chirp.

I keep hearing the C&L Plenum and Accufab is the way to go. I will make that purchase.

I have been told not to go with more than a 4lb pulley on an 02 unless I want break crap. Anyone else ever hear this?

Does anyone have the Metco Traclink system?

Thanks.

I've been running a 6lb for 3 years now...

It's all in the tune and knowing how to drive her with a bigger pulley.

I have the JLP long bars and I get no axle wrap, wheel hop, etc. Just squat and go...
