okay.. just got thru doing some maintenance on the truck.. (rotate tires, lube steering stops, fill intercooler radiator, clean bedrug, ect..)
when i had the back wheels off, i looked to see how hard it would be to put the traction springs on..

the ad says you need 2-2.5 inch wide leaf springs & 20 inches of space between axle and fixed spring mount (hanger).

our leaf springs are 2.5 inches wide, and we have 21-22 inches of room between the front hanger and the mounting plate for the axle.

the only problems i can see right off hand are the brake/emergency brake lines that run on top of the leaf springs..
i don't think these traction springs will interfere with them tho..

I'll back it up on ramps this afternoon before I leave for the NHRA 50th anniversary race and post them.

Later.

clonetek, Email me. I can't get the attach function to work. Maybe you can post the pic's for me?

When it comes to computers, I'm no Lightning mechanic.

Question Anyone Installed?

Found this post on the Hellwig Tranction control springs and was wondering if anyone has installed these? I have some wheel hop from going with a lower profile tire and was hoping these would help. Have these springs helped anyone?

There are cheaper(allot) traction devices out there that do just as good of a job preventing axle wrap...
