Question Lightning in England Head lamp help

Just bought a 99 Lightning in England , I'm amazed with this thing, people over here just stop and stare. Oh yes,the intercooler is leaking,I should have read this board before I bought it, But I guess I have a problem now.
Does anyone know where I can buy headlights that point to the left instead of to the right, we can't adjust them for driving on the left, the beam angles upwards in the wrong direction obviously.

Great idea about the US military base
Thanks I'll try it
The biggest problem running an L is the gas,
we pay about $5.50 gallon here.Just for interest the new price for an L is approx
$48000, I had to buy second hand. I'm looking to import a new L myself and cut out all the middle men, but I still have to pay 27.5 % tax on the purchase price and shipping

MDEE, being that your truck is a 99, which uses standard F-150 lights, you should have more luck finding reverse lenses that if you had an 01, which has headlamps unique to the Lightning. I will try to see if any are available.

Find a U.S. military installation and their service station will probably be able to help you. Maybe Lakenheath? When I was stationed at Upper Heyford the base gas station stocked lights to convert all U.S. spec vehicles so they could be driven on the wrong (opposite) side of the road.

Thumbs down

Things are pretty pathetic here in Oz for genuine F-series parts and otherwise. They are in the hands of a couple of small independant suppliers who are slow and unhelpful at the best of times. You're better off staying with the northern hemisphere for parts, I certainly do.

I am around 45 miles from Mildenhall and have seen some other F150 imports - will checkout the base next time I go past - you are right a Red Lightning here in UK certainly gets some looks - have you heard of any other owners yet?
