guys after you put the chip and other things in , do you find the transmission shifts as smoothly as before or is it harsher for every day use?

totaled i have a question? did y ou put the mods in all at once or did you put them in one at a time and test? if you put them in one at a time what was the greatest gain from, and what were your times? also do you find the truck shifting as smoothly as before?

I added some - tested - added some - tested added some - tested. - Here goes from memory:

Stock with 270 miles I ran 13.8 @ 98

chip & filter @ 1200 miles 13.4 @ 101 or 102

chip, filter, power cooler, shift kit, slicks
12.95 @ 105

all of the above with lower pulley, converter, electric fan & breather cap 12.77 @ 106

all of the above with (lower pulley delete)upper pulley and the latest JDM chip 12.61 @ 107.56

caka: i know the feein'. your post made me think/remember my pit bull bitch, "Dolly"(she had a BIG chest!). sweet, black coat with white patches & feet, about 62lbs. of love and fearlessness(word?). you're right; sal's post is awesome, as a L and as a badass black pit bull!
