Post Track question

Since I have seen some of the people using n2o on this board I have a question. The times posted of better than 11.99 seconds are great for a truck but I always thought anything faster than a 11.99 had to have a roll cage. Am I wrong? Just curious

Anything running quicker than 11.99 does require a roll bar, not a roll cage. You would need a 5 point to pass tech, but most people make it a 6 point because of the look. And your also required other safety items, Including belts..etc..

Spiro99SVT,

Are you running a roll bar? If so does it have to be mounted inside the cab? Any pictures of it?

Thanks
John..

Long story there...but no, not yet. The few tracks that I have run 11's at really were kinda cool about it, but for my own safety I do plan one for this winter along with a new(finally) engine to replace this old over 40K OEM motor.

If our trucks were extended cab we could build a cage that fits inside. But we do need to go through the rear window to the frame with the cage..
