Question New Mod?

"
Moroso Oil Accumulator. IF YOU'RE LOOKIN' FOR SOME CHEAP INSURANCE ON YOUR HIGH-DOLLAR ENGINE, THE MOROSO OIL ACCUMULATOR IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED. THIS THING HOLDS 3 QUARTS OF OIL IN RESERVE, SO WHEN YOUR ENGINE'S OIL PRESSURE DROPS BELOW NORMAL, THE ACCUMULATOR SHOVES OIL INTO YOUR ENGINE PREVENTING MAJOR DAMAGE. WHEN THE PRESSURE GETS BACK TO NORMAL, THE OIL IS FORCED BACK INTO THE ACCUMULATOR READY FOR THE NEXT EMERGENCY. NOW, WHETHER YOUR APPLICATION IS STREET OR OFF ROAD, SUMMIT RACING HAS YOU COVERED FOR ABOUT $175 BUCKS."

Anyone think about adding this to their trucks?? Do you think it'd help with the longevity of the motor?

I seen this on American Muscle Car the other day. They spoke very highly of it.
For us with Lightnings, I can't ever see it being that huge of an asset, but it couldn't hurt. I've run the heck out of my L and never run into a detrimental oiling issue. But again, one bad blow from a rock or whatever and it would be nice to know that you got back-up, and it would be a resale asset, the next owner would have knowledge that you protected your L.

Cheers
