There was a collective "owww" in the theatre I went to went he hit the bumper on the sidewalk.

Heh, unlike some of you other gents, there would be no hot rodding in the parking lot near my place... a "police presense" is always there on the weekends. they'd itching to right you a ticket for your radio being too loud, let alone makining your car chirp.

They were able to stare at me repeatedly as I kept driving back and forth looking at other cars.

Lol...the cops in my town have WAY to much time on their hands. This would be the same ones that threatened to give me a ticket for playing my radio too loud. To quote him it was "Why don't you turn the radio down, I heard it four cars away. If you don't, I'll write you a ticket for it, your tinted windows and no front plate. Have a nice day."

Lol... I need to move.

I agree that at least they used some imports that were actually fast. I still don't get why some of the FWD cars had big wings on the back though, especially for drag racing...

But hey, forget about the cars, I wish I saw more of Michelle Rodriguez!

B/c the big wings put down force for better traction, oh wait you said FWD. It's the same philosophy of putting larger rims with wider lower profile tires on the rear wheels, but keeping the stock rims w/ no hubcaps for the front wheels.

This is why: stock wheels with no hubcabs are lighter, therefor on the wheels that deliver power they would spin faster, nevermind that larger rims and lower profile tires would give better steering response and grip, which would offset and improve asside from their added weight.

Now a huge wing will put downforce on the rear, therefor helping the front to raise up, with less weight pushing down on the front wheels, they will spin faster.

Make sense?
