That was me, I stood up and shouted when it first came on the screen. Then I shouted when he got rammed up against it, the I shouted when he scraped it.

I loved how they had all the different NOS bottles in the show case in the parts store. It was if nitrous is the greatest thing on earth... On second thought their right!!

Thumbs down

You know, it's really kind of sad when a company makes a movie and doesn't even have the right info on the car. On the offical movie website, they list the Charger as a 69, when it's really a 70 (chrome bumper that goes around the grille). Another REALLY bad mistake, was that stupid Joe Dirt movie. The website for that movie calls the car both a 69 Cuda and a 70 Challenger, when it's a 69 Charger Daytona, one of the rarest and most valuable cars there is. Even the junker they used for the movie, would bring in over 100k if sold privately.

What? You didn't know I was a MOPAR guy too?

Brooks, it wasn't a Superbird, it was a Daytona, the other Winged Warrior from Mopar. I don't have the exact numbers handy, but Plymouth built about 2000 70 Superbirds, which were built off the Road Runner body. Dodge built about 500 Daytonas, they were all 69s, except for 3 70s. They were built off the Charger 500 body, which used the fastback roof and exposed headlamp flush grille.

Next week by the look of the previews. I really hope this movie doesn't perpetuate more rice boys.

Cool

Black expo, yes that along with getting thrown up against the L during the first fight, got my attention, but the best L scene is were hero/cop/delivery boy delivers parts stacked up above the cab level, proving the L can do more than haul ***.

You all know that the Charger doing a wheelie was faked don't you? Saw a short "making of" on the Fast and Furious and they used some sort of front end lift setup to do the wheelie. Looks cool though.

Hehehe BlackExpo, hell yeah I saw that! I was cringing and gritting my teeth watching him swing the L in to park, the disrespectful bastage! But I was so pumped that there was an L in the movie! I just wish he had modded the L up to go smack down the imports.

The movie was VERY cool if you dig fast cars and/or street racing at all. Granted, there are alot of imports (lotsa rice with all the graphics and spoilers, but at least they were fast in the movie), but there is some pretty cool driving, nice cars, and good action. The plot was OK (I mean, what kind of plot would you expect that involves street racing?). Of course, there were a few things in the movie that looked weird or wrong, but that's true of nearly all movies nowadays. Just go to the movie with the intention of enjoying it, let yourself get into the action, and enjoy that OMG incredible chick Michelle Rodriquez.../drool!

Great flick, don't miss it at the theaters. Much better than Gone in 60 Seconds. I will definitely have it on DVD. I can't wait to see all of the "Making of stuff" and hopefully some information and pics of the cars used.

Yeah I cringed when he did that to the bumper cuz I just did it to mine last weekend in Columbus!! I was just praying the whole time that the L in the movie didnt get blown up or something, haha. Since my L is red..the whole group of people I went with all turned to look at me when the L popped on the screen. Needless to say...that cheesy grin was back in full effect and i yelled out kinda loud..."thats a damn nice truck!!"

Talking

"Fast and Furious" is definitely making those rice boys feel invincible. Since Friday, EVERY ricer and even wanna-be ricer is giving me the stare down at the stop lights. I've been ignoring them since they are not even worth the gas to run them down. But two of them got on my nerves with their engine revving and trash talking that I had to give them a spanking. Once in the L and once in the mustang, I gave them a full car length head start before blowing by them by the time I hit 45 MPH. Not surprisingly, neither one of them wanted a second helping.
