Supercharger problem..Helppp

My supercharger seems to be eating the coolant very rapidly especially when in boost...i filled the resovouir a couple weeks ago because it was empty and now its happened again. I gave it full throttle twice last night and noticed the truck seemed a lot slower..also heard a metal sound kind of like a clicking noise when i gave it gas...i stopped to make sure everything was ok and my coolant was gone.....anyone know what could be causing this? and how much damage could have been done?

What year is your truck and how many miles do you have on it?

99-00 had intercooler leak problems. Do a search for "Intercooler Recall" and you will find all you need to know. Unfortunately Ford no longer honors the recall.

Yeah,,that's why I asked.
Sounds like a leaky intercooler.

Stay out of boost until it is fixed. High blower outlet temps cause detonation. Intercooler core will have to be replaced, most likely.
