wet wax job on my L! busy sat. for me...i've never been into the wash-n-wax thing with my vehicles. the performance mods took up all my time and interest. i don't think i've ever waxed a vehicle before(paid for it to be done many times..you can imagine just how much that sucked!...the wax job, not the $).

i spent about 4 hrs. cleaned the tires & wheels with Eagle One(also used their protectant), washed her with Hawaiian car soap, clay barred with Clay Magic & Hawaiian Mystery Mist, and then waxed her with Cherry Wet Wax...what great stuff! backed her out of the garage and took some snapshots in the bright sun. she really glistens.

just got back from a dinner date with my wife of 36 yrs. on the way to the chinese restaurant, an 01 lincoln pulls up in the left lane(I-75) next to us. i look over to see if he wants a 'kill' and this kid(6 or 7 yrs.) in the passenger seat waves like crazy at me and starts video taping me and my L. i 'thumbs up' back to him and suck in a little boost.

oh yeah, we drove about 20 wonderful miles out of the way to a couple of fresh PEACH ice cream cones for dessert.

thanks guys. it was a great day, night, weekend! the only 'bad' thing to happen was the drag strip was closed fri. pm due to rain--bummer!

btw, i'll try to make you bass fishermen a little envious--caught 3 bass sun afternoon--2# 9oz(topwater bait), 4# 4oz(1/4 oz white spinnerbait), & 6# 3oz(on the same s/bait
