I have to agree with ally69 on this one. when and where is this supposed training going to occur? when are they going to train me trained to do what exactly? replace the intercooler, it's not a very hard job and ford certainly doesn't do training for specific labor operations like that anyway. not trying to flame or be a smartass, but I'd take that info with a grain of salt. later.

After my first intercooler was replaced by my dealer. I decided to do it myself...considering how hard it was..LOL
I dont mean to make fun of it, but what good does it do for me?? Hmm... For those of us over our warranty...are we just ***** out of luck?? of course....

Let me tell you about out of warranty. It means nothing on a problem like this. Ford knows these intercoolers are bad and they will replace them at their cost irreguardless of miles. Just go in and raise hell. Go up the chain of command and while sitting in the GMs office call the Ford district rep. If you pay your a fool. I was getting free brake jobs on my 93 after 60K because ford didn't have a good non asbestos pad and the ones they were using would only last about 20K and they knew it.
