Question 2001L bilstein shocks?

Can anyone that drives a 2001L tell me what kind of ride they are getting from the Bilsteins shocks? i am thinking about installing a set on my Screw, but i want to make sure the ride is tight but not hard. Thank you.I am thinking about using the same shocks that come on the 2001L.

Are you running the Lightning springs? If not, Lightning owner feedback will be misleading...

Thumbs up

I have the new Bilstiens on my 2001 L. I love them, very controller ride without being harsh. My wife keeps falling asleep when we are on the highway. She says the truck rides to smooth.
I had Bilstiens put on my 1996 Chinook (E-350) mini-motorhome as year. Drove the 30 miles home on the highway and country roads. Next day found a wrench laying on the frame by the read wheels. Talk about smooth. I put them on my 1997 Explorer last spring. Really help here also. I have conviced several of my RV friends to change to Bilstiens and they are all like them and are still talking to me.
I am not a salesman or have anything to do with the company, just love the product. Hope this helps.

Bilsteins have been the best for me.

they were on my z281le-from the factory and were still tight and firm at 150,000 miles when i sold it. this was my daily driver, autox, driving school car.

i put them on my 86 saab 9000T--gone but not forgotten.

i messed up and put edelbrock ias shocks on my 97 xlt f150-never again.

my L with its bilsteins is tight, firm, and under control. get 'em!
