Post 01 L owners: How is your intercooler holding up?

On the 99 and 00 models the intercoolers did fail at only a few thousand miles in some cases. It might be time for the 01's to fail if ford didn't really fix the problem.

No STEREO. All of my custom stereo was stolen from my truck while it was at CROWN FORD in Nashville, TN for service. No, they have not reimbursed me.

Well, I have 00'L and I have 6300 miles on it and I have no intercooler leaks. I guess that would make me the needle in the hay stack!

9020 mi, and still good. I marked it at 1000+ miles, and have checked it twice a week, every week since then.

Well I called SVT a couple a weeks ago and they told me that the 01 intercoolers were redesigned. Shouldnt be a problem was what they told me.
I have only about 1800 miles on her but no leak.

It looks like I'm the high miler so far. I have 9600 miles with no leaks yet. I do have some other small annoying problems:

1.) Cracked fogs
2.) Clunk
3.) Moving Control arm bolt
4.) Armrest goes down too far
5.) Passenger window motor is on it's way out
6.) Weather trim around rear window sticking out in places.

I'm going to the dealer soon to get everything fixed.

23,300 on an 00 with no leak yet but i think the 01 intercooler is exactly the same as the 99/00 plus one xtra rib 9 instead of 8.If they haven't fixed the clunk yet, then i would not count on the ic's holding up either. If they don't leak i wonder if they fit the 00 as i don't plan on trading until the 03's come out,if they actually produce one.
