Question Replacement bulbs

I am looking to goto superwhite/blue bulbs in my 00L. Do they run hotter than the stock ones? Do they make them for the fogs too? I am looking for brands and prices.

Thanks!

Someone on here posted that they MELTED all of their wiring for their headlights because of these.

Can someone elaborate on that post again? I will try and find it for you!

Has anyone tried the Xenon superwhites? Just ordered some today. I am not sure of the wattage. The xenon rep said they would work in our trucks with no problems. I want to be sure before I take a chance on burning up my truck.

It really depends on the quality of the bulb.

I had EagleLite's burn out the ends of the headlight harness on me, but I had good luck with PIAA and SELECT.

I know people have run the Superwhites from the online store here without any issues. This is of course, keeping with stock wattages. 55/65 for headlights, 55 for fogs.

I now run HID, so its a totally different scenario for me.
