Well I'm tired of not knowing whats going on with the truck, so I ordered the autotap just now. It should be in pretty soon, like in two days there saying. so once I get this hooked up I'll let you guys know how this works. I'm sure there some of you that would like to play around with the codes and that stuff in the trucks. we'll see now.

I'm not sure about a stand, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

I might just do the seat modificationa and make a custom center console that hold the computer. That would be the way to go with it.

You guys will love it. You could monitor just about every function on these trucks. You have the choice of displaying them in GRAPH,ANALOG or DIGITAL.

Are the code pulling features on the autotap generic or are they real codes?

 

I'm not always sure when you guys are serious and when you're just jackin' but...

I put a laptop stand in my Expedition. It stood on an arm that was mounted into the side of the driveshaft hump. There was a table mounted on that and the whole mess could be adjusted using the same locks as on bicycle seats and wheels. It'd move about every direction possible.

I used it for my phone book so I didn't look down onto the passenger's seat to retrieve a phone number. Those Expeditions would drift a lane and a half in a second and it was dangerous as Hell takin' my eyes off the road.

Anyway, if you're serious (or seriously jackin') I'll be glad to look up the place I bought the thing...
