Prep and re-prep the paint. Souveran ($70) a jar followed by zaino. Final buff with a Porter-Cable orbital polisher and microfiber bonnets.

You'll win at a car show if you have the rest of your truck together.

5 coats of Z2 on fresh silver paint... looks like a silver mirror! I'll never use anything BUT Zaino.

red2k: cherry wet wax can be purchased in 1 qt. containers for under $13, from Coats. I just got mine last week and I sure didn't want to get a gallon of it. they list the quarts on their wet cherry site.--Jim

Buy a gallon and give it to your friends like I did. I use it on the wife's cars but not my L. $21 gallon or $13 quart...4 qts. to a gallon......I'll take a pint for $9.

Good luck with the Cherry. Its pretty good stuff but I'm **** and copulsive enough to do it my way.

Wet Cherry wax is just as easy to apply as Zaino and much easier to remove with no residue or staining. sometimes it takes zaino an hour or more before you can remove it. it takes 5 minutes for cherry wax to dry with a wetter deeper looking shine. I have used the best show waxes made like zymol concours and pinnacle soveraign but the cherry wet wax outshines them all. It does the job for me with less time and effort. later 95rcobra.

www.zainobros.com and www.coatsproducts.com

BTW, is it just me, or does Cherry Wax smell like those urinal mints they use in gas stations?

LMAO Zaino's Z2 smells like cherry licorice.
Let me add that if you do use Zaino, you will get a deeper shine if you use the swirl and scratch remover as well. It not only keeps the swirls and scratches out, but it gives the shine a LOT of depth. I rotate the swirl and scratch remover w/ every other wax job. Just remember to ALWAYS finish with Zaino's polish. The swirl and scratch remover isn't made to provide a shine like the polish.

I got a bottle of the turtle wax red wax and I think its working very awesome on mine. Its a red colored wax that fills the scratches better on the red trucks anyway. they have it in all colors!
