Ya I agree about it only being good if i'm gonna drag it. But i don't really want to have the power of S/C all the time. Cause in the winter it will just throw this truck all over the place. I just want it just in case i pull up beside a lightning at a light .JJ

cheap? i guess you could get a leaf "blower".. they are cheap.

Throw a couple bucks in the budget for a transmission rebuild too. Extra horsepower means extra torque, and torque, especially at the 1-2 shift, eats transmissions. From what I understand, ours (Lightnings) are a special build with internals from the PowerStroke trans.
