Anyone planning on going? Weather's not going to be the greatest, but its my first wednesday this year that I can go. Will be my first time at the strip. Where does everyone get racing fuel? Hope to meet some of you from the area there!

I may go, if I can get out of my golf match in time. I have been looking for a place to find uneaded racing fuel, Haffners in Haverhill hac CanAm but it has lead in it. I guess the track is the only place so far $5.50 per gallon ouch.

I got my rear pinion seal fixed, but they didn't fix the brakes. They said they took it for a test drive one whole mile.

Hi Ed

When I brought my truck into the dealer about a month and a half ago the dealer said they felt the brakes pulling to the left, so they replaced the pads(without resurfacing the rotors). Ever since then they just don't work the same especially when they get warm.

I had it in yesterday for for the leaky pinion seal, and also check the brakes out. They told me they could not find anything wrong with the brakes. They told me they took it for a test ride, a wopping 1 mile test ride.

So it looks like I will have to fight to get my front brakes replaced. The thing that pisses me off is that I never told them to touch them in the first place, and now they tell me they have to get a Ford advisor to approve a brake replacement.

Don C- When I had my intercooler replaced a while back, I told the dealer about my brakes pulsing, and that I thought it was the right front ABS speed sensor. When I picked up my truck a few days later expecting to find a new non-leaking intercooler (which I did- temporary although it may be) and sensors, to my surprise they had also replaced the front pads and surfaced the rotors without me having to ask. granted they didn't put Mobil 1 back in it for me, but "2 out of 3 ain't bad".

later...

If you do go it won't just be the new 20's slowing you down, this will be the first night with the HHH (haizy hot humid) conditions.

MXRacer you goin ?

Sorry to hear that you couldn't make it Bill and I still had fun, even though he smoked me one run. I did a 17 at about 70 mph broke loose about 3 times on that run then shut her down. I did run a 13.3 the track really sucked tonight. I beet a WRK off the line aand through the traps. I figure he would take me at 60' with his all wheel drive.

They have to do some work to make the track even, the right lane was much worse than the left.

I'll tell you those 20" rims are smokin.

Hope to see you soon.

BOSTONL:

Sorry you couldn't make it. Well I broke in the twenties, a few times and I could only manage a 13.3 with the heat and the twenties on. The Goodyears stuck pretty good after I heated them up. It was a good time just wish it was cooler.
