Webmaster - Crash Test Threads ?
blue blood,
First off, I'll move along when I feel like it. Secondly, if this was put in the General Discussion, most of the Lightning owners wouldn't see it because for some reason, they think they're too special to read or post anywhere except the Lightning forum. Let me tell ya. You ain't special.

Talk about a thread to soon be closed....
Its not that I think I am special - its just that the volume of time required to keep up with this *one* forum each day is enough, without having to scan the audio forum for stereo tips, or the general care forum for waxing tips, or what have you. I can see how a general discussion of the crash data might be moved to the Safety board, as long as it is just about the regular data, but to me, when you start talking about the data re: a Lightning, in a short wheelbase form(I dont know if the data was based on extended cab or what) then I think it certainly bears some need in the Lightning forum. Certainly a post in the thread linking to the general discussion would be good, but not necessarily closing the thread. Its kind of a bad example, because the safety deal is a national run story, but think about how many places you would have to check if the same rules were applied to all posts. I think traffic in the Lightning area, and probably board wide, would slow.
Anyhow, I typed so much, the thread is probably already locked down by now.

Blue Blood (Tom) - it is people like you with your attitude that makes us, non-Lightning owners stay away from here. If some of the Lightning owners had a better attitude to others in here, maybe everyone could get along at events and such. If we go to a drag strip, the F150 people are in one section and the Lightning people are in another area. Attitudes are the only difference, we non-Lightning owners were built way before any Lightning was ever created. I would say that technically, we non-Lightning owners should have the attitude towards the Lightning owners. Fortunately for you guys, we F150 people don't have attitudes like some of you guys do. When we go to Milan or to London Dragstrips, we are the guys who approach the Lightning owners and not vise versa. Why is that???
