Every time i bring my vehicle in, it's like clock work........another problem starts. It's like a curse!!

If finally had the cruise switch recall done. Driving home, check engine light comes on. WTF?

I pull the code, 1406- dpfe tube off or plugged. Ok, maybe something got knocked off , they were working in that area.....

Nope, everything looks fine. No melted lines, nothing off.......All plugs and lines are connected. Did my DPFE sensor just take a crap magically? I replaced that a couple times on my focus. They stocked them at the dealer like they were oil filters.

 

Take to the dealer for inspection? I think they should do this as courtesy since they just "operated" on your baby

 

i checked all the lines, everything is good. I reset the code and it hasn't come back in a couple days..........

 

Check ur gas cap !

 

Just did a search on this code and looks like I had posted this before!!! Friggen gas cap!
