Ecu or PATS problem? Need help. Big problem
what happens when you put the key in and try to start the engine?
does the truck still get power to crank over?
do the guages on the dash still work?
did you check all the fuseable links feeding power to the ECU?
did you check the second fuse box under the dash ?(there is one in the engine bay too)
where are you located?

- Cigarett lighter works fine. Pops out and everything
- It just turn when we try to start it
- It does have power to crank over
- guages on dash? You mean fuel and enging temp etc?
- Like I mentioned earlier, yes fusable links feeding power to the ecu are ok.
- Fuse box under dash? Yes
- Located in Norway

Okay, let's start over again.
First off... PCM = ECU = computer.
You said JL sent you 3 computers. Do you mean he physically sent you 3 actual Lightning PCMs? Or did you mean he sent you 3 tunes for the Predator?
Second, concerning the issue you have now. It cranks but won't fire. When you turn the key to run, does the theft light flash, or stay on solid?

I'm sorry for any misunderstandings. English is not my language.
Why is it important to know how many computers he send? What I ment to say, is that there was already a reprogrammed computer in the truck, which we probable fried (read first post), then he send a new one that we didn't get to work, so just in case he send the last one. All computers were reprogrammed so the pats should be off.
The tunes lies in the predator. But originally, the tune was in the chip. My father pulle out the chip whilest the motor was running, and after this the motor whent dead (read first post). Instead of messing around with chips, jlp send us therefor a predator (including tune), so we don't have to work with chips anymore.
I'm not sure if the motor cranks or turns, my technical knowlegde in english is not good enough here. I don't know the difference.
I'm also not sure about the theft light. I can have it checked.
Maybe someone can tell me where the information about milage is stored in the truck? Will the original milage that was on the truck remain the same if we just change computers?

You could probably get more local help by contacting http://www.rebel-v8.co.uk/. English Adam is a member here and there who has a Harley Truck.
