In my drunken daze, I find it quite funny that all you good hockey fans in CO root for your home team BUT if memory serves me right, the DEVILS are your home team. Don't you remember, they are the team that you DIDN"T support, so they moved to the swamp. You know, the Stanley Cup champs last year, and you know the rest......................and it begins

Negative. And as for the Rockies (Devils) I never watched much minor league hockey. I'm not worried. The Devs may play better away....but the Devs have never had to play us with the cup literally on the line, in our house, with our fans, and Roy in his zone like he is and I have a feeling, that's where he is going to stay. Man I thought getting pushed off the bandwagon hurt, try getting run over by it Even though we (AV's) won 4-0 Thursday it came on less than 20 shots. I won't say we were lucky, but Broduer was obviously not on his game. We need more shots on net in game 7 to claim the cup IMHO

700 uniformed officers in riot gear, 350 uninformed officers, every street downtown open with a contingency plan should it be necessary, every business downtown encouraging the fans to come down after the game. In recent year, with our other Stanley Cup victory and back to back Superbowl titles all in the last 7 years unfortunately they have learned that with winning something this big comes drunk and disorderly conduct. So The Partnership of Denver decided maybe, if they make everything accessible it will deter people from acting stupid. We'll see when we win tonight I suppose. I'll be tailgating along with about 60,000 other people at the Pepsi Center.

We didn't need no stinkin riot police when we celebrated our cup victory. So as an public service, we the Devils, will win tonite to keep YOUR city from being trashed by "fans". No need for thanks, its the least we can do for our "Lightning brothers and sisters" in the mile high city!

Yeah righhhhht. Like we are the only city to get stupid when we win something like that. I'm not saying it's right, just that it's common. Never thought I would say it, but maybe New Jersey has more class then Denver HAHAHA Well, that's okay, you keep your class, we'll keep the cup.

Lightning owners, please try to use the other forums on these boards for topics not directly related to Lightnings.

The more off-topic posts that appear in this forum, the more difficult it is to find information using the search function...something I know that none of you want.
