I've had a lot of various sports cars over the years that always attracted a lot of attention from guys and gals both. I get attention from guys in the L but girls never give it a second look. A thought I might get a look or two since it is bright red. This isn't why I bought the truck but it's something me and my friends picked up on. Plus, this girl I'm talking to said "I guess it's OK for a truck" Anyone else have similar experiences?

I've actually had a lot of luck with girls in this truck. I was driving around in my college parking lot with my windows down and this girl yelled "THATS A SWEET TRUCK!" Stopped the truck and she walked over where we exchanged #'s. I've also had similar expierences at the gas station as well. I think it might be the silver, girls dig the silver. :P

I have overheard the following from members of the female persuasion. "That’s a "cute" truck. The last time I heard this was in Westwood and I was on Broxton, stopped in traffic, and I had the windows open and a woman and her husband were walking by and the woman said "Oh Mike, that’s a cute truck. If you have to get a truck at least get one like that!" She had no idea what it was, she just thought it was "cute". I didn’t get a look at Mike but hopefully he knew what it was.
Only once has a female known what the L was. I pulled into the grocery store and there parked at the end was a new SuperCrew Harley F150, so I parked right next to it.
When I left the store there were three women just ahead of me and I thought to myself wouldn’t it be funny if they were going to the Harley. Guess what, they were. One of the women said "Oh my God, it’s a Lightning!" and I said yes, they are lots of fun. We talked for about 20 mins comparing the two trucks. I’ll say this; the interior of that Harley is sweeeeet! Great seats.

 

I have one girl a few house down from me knows what a Lightning is and really wants one.

actually mine is a real police interceptor. the other day, a deputy was behind me at the McyDees drive thru. i pulled off to the side to eat a quick breakfast with my son. the officer pulled along side, and asked, Man!, when did we get those things? i replied, ah,,,, recently?
so i'm taking that as being deputized, or something

 

How could I argue w/ that?

Ya never know what's going to come around the next corner. From what I've learned in my 28 years, "chicks" or better known as women, are STUPID! Those of us that really appreciate an incredible vehicle are few and far between.

I feel ya. All my guy friends love my truck. The girls come up to me and say, "heard you got a new truck!" ask, "what is it?", i reply, "A Lightning." They promptly reply with a "What's that?" How do you explain superchargers and limited quantities, lowered and fast, to a girl? They don't care. So, we just say, "It's the fastest truck made."
Kind of frustrating, but my girlfriend likes it. She loves the seats, but is afraid of the speed.
she also loves the way guys stare at us as we are driving around. That's the best part of the truck: the starring.
