Brian- I met a guy named Andy at Carlisle, has a white 99 L with chrome 20s and a pro-sport. He lives in your area, said someone had told him about a black L with a pro-sport. Be on the lookout at your next cruise event.

I just got back and i have to say i was a little disapointed with the turnout..there was only 3 lightnings me,sal, and a guy named author really nice guy..but i thought there would be more than that..i lost in the bracket class..but did win the headsup class with a shameful 13.1 @105 ive got a bad speed sensor thats messing the tranny shifts up. but i did manage to get a .5?? light and author thankfully fell asleep and got a 1.2? light thats what i needed to get a jump on him as soon as i launched my tranny started messing up and i just kept it to the floor he never caught me he went i believe 12.90..my best time of the event was a 12.64@107.6..i do however thank dave king for putting this event together.and thank psp for sponsering the lightning class.we did have an enjoyable time but if the turnout was bigger it would have been better! I also have to thank Dave for putting the effort into the event. The turnout was dissapointing, but never-the-less, we had fun. As Johnny stated, only 3 Lightnings, his, mine, and Arthur's. We all ran both bracket and muscle class. I let a guy get in on bracket with a regular F-150, just to make it an even two rounds of racing, and wouldn't you know, he beat John in round 1 and beat me in the final, LOL. I actually had him on the tree, but wheelspin stopped me from catching him
.
I picked up our new PSP 01 on Wednesday, just had time to put on a PSP lower pulley, filter kit, and driveshaft loop and headed down to NC with Spiro. I did not do anything at all to remove weight, and weighed in at a portly 4980lbs. Since qualifing for the Lightnings was just really time runs, I played with the chip calibrations a bit and got the truck down from 13.80s at 99 mph to 13.30 at 102. I was pretty happy with that considering the weight and the fact that the truck was only 2 days old

You guys should set something up at New England Dragway. There are a bunch of lightnings that run there. Every time i been up there, there have been at least 5-6 L's and thats on a Wednesday night. Just something to think about....
