Also i found this underneat the bed.

My guess is its for the fumes to collect in when the truck isnt running. It has a vaccume line that goes all the way up into the intake of the truck. Biggest question. Can i remove it without that pesky Check Engine light comming on?
Also a 3406 Cat Engine out of one of our D8's getting overhauled

Hopefully tommorow i will have time to pull the cab off

The cab is off. But no pics. The process wasnt too complicated. Pretty straight foreward if you have good knoledge of auto's. But it was a little more time consuming than i thought it was gonna take.
Im gonna start wrenching on it tommorow. my only day off

Don't want to sound mean, but that look like crap. I'm afraid to know what mine looks like after 10 yrs in Florida!
Why a fuel tank? Does it NEED one? why spend the money? That engine needs a good appointment with RockPick and his detailing stuff

Yes you will have check engine light, but the whole purge and vent campaign can be deleted with a tune. Also you would need to plug and remove the vacuum line.
Looks good tho! You gonna do bags while you got the body off?
