Sean Hyland Lightning Parts
I was looking at Sean Hylands site checking out his new tuner mustang and saw he is making parts for the Lightning now. Looks like he is getting some real good numbers. Has anyone used any of his parts yet ? I have used mustang parts from him just nothing for the truck. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I asked about this last year when I got my truck, but all resposes were pretty much the same - praises for SHM Mustang tuning, but nothing good to say about what they do with Lightnings...

Ummm...unless he has dramatically changed his ways, I would definitely think about spending your money elsewhere.
Been there, done that. Won't even consider wearing the T-Shirt.

I had the SHM chip in my truck for 3 months... Never took it to the track to test but it felt a little bit stronger than stock... Then it started cutting out and the truck would not start and they looked at it and did nothing... 300 for 3 months and then they wanted me to pay them another 25 for shipping this chip back... They ended up shipping it back for free but have yet to see if it works or not... There are much better parts out there: JDM, JL and PSP make the best products for our trucks... SHM is great with mustangs...

Did you ever find that it was something wrong with the chip? I would figure that with all of the mustang work he has done some of it must apply to the lightning. Anyone else have any experance with his lightning parts?

They said they could not get the chip to reburn so I just bought a new chip... Have not tested it but when I pulled it to ship it to them it worked , but the chip had to be wiggled in the computer about 2-3 times a week to get the truck to start... I have had no problems with my superchip and just would not pay all that money for a chip when JDM, PSP and JL all offer much better chips and filters for the money...
