So Far the Supporting Vendors have done a pretty good job of staying out of the fray. I appreciate your restraint.

Lets keep it that way. There are obviously some malcontents here with some axes to grind.

Rather than let them bait you and the rest of us with the BS they have been posting just send me a heads up and I will close the thread. With the volume of posts here a closed thread disappears quickly.

As Spiro suggested the best place for that stuff is off line.

We are coming up on a 3 day weekend for some folks - So hopefully everyone will get some R&R and next week will be calmer.

Thanks in advance

Have A JDM Vs. PSP shootout....seems like both companies are close enough to run.

Have like 5 of their best trucks and go heads up.....

I'm sure it wouldt cost a thing execpt for staging both trucks to run together in the staging lanes.

sound like a plan?

Spiro,
You seem like a nice enough guy to me. You try and help whomever needs it. You were just talking about the JDM camp being bitter. You should take a step back and let the ego and the emotions cool and look at what you said. It is human nature. It is not a JDM part, but a Ford part and by your own admission you also said that your axle twisted and caused contact. Everyone is pissing on each other here, and by your comback it just makes it more childish.
In your text you imply JDM has bad parts and JL is a Prince. Take it for what its worth.
Tom

"Well...it was only a matter of time before I had a problem of my own...LOL
My JDM (01') Driveshaft took a C R A P on a run with my dear friend JL by my side. And I must say, JL had no idea what happened to me, but he was right there to lend me support, and be sure that I was safe..Thank you JL and Sue"

"And this one time at band camp....." Can't we all just get along.. please people. I work a full day, plus have school, then ontop of that have personal stuff to deal with, and this board and my truck are the only release from "the real world" that I have. Please don't turn this into another SVTperformance.com site. All the BS ruined that site in my opinion, and would HATE to see it happen here. Remember what your mommmies told you, "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all."

I just wanted to post something before this topic is closed.

---------------------------------------------
I am writing in response to your request for additional information. In block number three of the accident reporting form, I put "poor planning" as the cause of my accident. You said in your letter that I should explain more and I trust that the following details are sufficient:

I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working alone on the roof of a new six-story building. When I completed my work, I discovered that I had about 500 pounds of bricks left over. Rather than carry the bricks down by hand I decided to lower them in a barrel by using a pulley, which fortunately was attached to the side of the building at the sixth floor.

Securing the rope at the ground level, I went up to the roof, swung the barrel out and loaded the bricks into it. Then I went back to the ground and untied the rope, holding it tightly to insure a slow descent of the 500 pounds of bricks. You will note in block number 11 of the accident reporting form that I weigh 135 pounds. Due to my surprise at being jerked off the ground so suddenly, I lost my presence of mind and forgot to let go of the rope. Needless to say, I proceeded at a rather rapid rate up the side of the building.

In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming down. This explains the fractured scull and broken collarbone. Slowed only slightly, I continued my rapid ascent, not stopping until the fingers of my right hand were two knuckles deep into the pulley. Fortunately, by this time I had regained my presence of mind and was able to hold tightly to the rope in spite of my pain.

At approximately the same time, however, the barrel of bricks hit the ground - and the bottom fell out of the barrel. Devoid of the weight of the bricks, the barrel now weighed approximately 50 pounds. I refer you again to my weight in block number 11. As you might imagine, I began a rapid descent down the side of the building.

In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming up. This accounts for the two fractured ankles and lacerations of my legs and lower body. The encounter with the barrel, slowed me enough to lessen my injuries when I fell onto the pile of bricks and fortunately, only three vertebrae were cracked. I am sorry to report, however, that as I lay there on the bricks in pain, unable to move, and watching the barrel six stories above - I again lost my presence of mind.

I let go of the rope.
---------------------------------------------

BTW, you guys are nuts.

Go Granny!

Thumbs down

Lately this board is nothing but a bitch session. I hope another board begins soon that will be about Ford poorly built (but strangely loved) SVT Lightnings. Why don't both of you meet somewhere and settle your differences like men or just get over it.
