Pantera, I went through 3 different shocks till I got a smooth ride. I have Edelbrock shocks in the front and Doetsch Tech in the rear. I found with just the Bell Tech 4 inch drop in the rear your truck will bottom out so I took advice from "Bolt" another member, and did a C-section to the frame in the rear. With the Bell Tech kit 3/4 your truck will look lower in the rear so I needed my front to be lowered to have the slammed look so I installed the Western Chassis 2 inch A-arms. If you need part numbers or help let me know.

DJY - Are you one of the few L's in Hawaii? There can't be many.
Have you thought about the 20" chromies yet?

Pantera & CBQ3, Thank you for the compliments! There a are a few Lightning in Hawaii maybe around 20. There are 3 2001 Black L. at the local Dealer who is asking $42,000 each. I was lucky I got my truck last year for MSRP.
