Post 20" chrome lightning wheels

The 99/00 chrome 20" lightning wheels will be in at classic wheel workz tommorrow. So everyone that had reserved a set of the 20's will start to be contacted by Terry. the picture should be posted tommorrow when I get it sent to me from Classic. If anyone that has reserved the 20's wants to have tires mounted at classic the tire rack has already sent some sets out to classic so order them asap and send them out to classic wheel workz. thanks 95rcobra.

Ya, but is anybody making a 305/35/zr20 tire to fit. these 295/40/zr20 are almost 1" taller!! Until somebody is making a 35 series tire it's kinda defeating the purpose, is'nt it? You really dont't want a taller tire, you want the rim to fill up more of the tire!!! (IMHO) The tire rack guys tell you the overall height is only about 1/2" taller, but if you look at a comparison chart, it is .84" taller, which is significant. Check out this comparison link.

I would not put a 35 series tire on the L. just ask RTKILLA he had them on there and said the ride was terrible. I am not even crazy about putting 40 series on there. the added height will help fill in the wheel wells and the slight drivetrain loss does not bother me because I do not race my lightning. so not much of a choice but to go with the 295-40-20's. later 95rcobra.
