Tampa, that dash kit looks great...How do you apply it without looking like a sticker?

Nostromo:

It's not a sticker....

It's a process in which they cover the entire piece in a carbon fiber looking material. The pieces are then permanently clear coated.

Read the Webpage again. It is a 3 coat paint process. There is no carbon or fiber in thier process.

http://www.deco-tec.com/Photogenesis.htm
Photogenesis is the latest technology in decorating 3-dimensional parts. This advanced system allows us to transfer a decorative pigment such as wood grain, carbon fiber, granite, or numerous other patterns to virtually any three dimensional hard surfaced item.
Looks interesting. I just wonder how durable the paint will be on the plastic from Ford

The dash kit on my dodge is terrible..a sticker kit basically...it looks good in the magazine.

So you have to take the pieces off you wish to get "carbon fibered" and send it somewhere?

Saleen:

Call Robin Kroell at their 1800 #. Her extension is x240.

Tell her how many pieces and she can give you an estimated cost.
Tell her I referred you to her. She might give you a break on the price.

Nostromo:

Minimum order is $75.00, so you can have a piece or two done at a time.
You don't have to send everything at once.

I saw this on TV one time. Supposedly it is a very interesting process and that they WILL NOT TELL ANYONE how it is done. Serious trade secrets I guess. I get the feeling that it is VERY inexpensive so if they keep it top secret they can still charge an arm and a leg for it.

Question

TampaSVT, It looks like to me in the picture that you also did the vents on either side of the radio. Were they hard to take out if you did? Thanks.
